Siemens hearing aids are available for Government Services clientele.

A full range of digital hearing aids are available for people who use various government services, including active military, veterans, and military families.

Tinnitus is very common among veterans. Hearing aids can help.

Often referred to as “ringing in the ears,” tinnitus is the number one disability among veterans and it affects at least one in every 10 American adults (see VA article on tinnitus). Many Siemens hearing aids—Carat™, Pure®, Siemens Life™, Insio™ and Aquaris™—have a tinnitus therapy feature that can provide relief for tinnitus sufferers.

  • We announced a new job training initiative for US military veterans with an engineering and manufacturing background as part of a nationwide effort to help transition veterans to the civilian workforce. Any military veteran meeting program requirements is eligible to apply at Veterans with service-connected disabilities can also access this training through the Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment program. Upon completion of the training, veterans who participate in this initiative can also present themselves as qualified candidates for positions with Siemens or its 71,000 customers who use Siemens’ PLM technology
  • Siemens received the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award in September 2012. The award is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
  • Siemens was named a “2013 Best for Vets” employer by Military Times. Ranked 29th out of 1,000 major companies, Military Times recognized Siemens for its demonstrated commitment to recruit, hire and retain qualified veterans, and for its comprehensive tools and resources, such as the National Veterans Network to help vets succeed in the civilian workplace.
  • Established in 2010, the Siemens Veterans Network is comprised of more than 400 Siemens employees (veterans and non-veterans) who volunteer their time to help veterans, active military, military families, and the families of fallen soldiers. Currently, they are involved in non-profit endeavors such as:
