Individuals with milder hearing loss will appreciate a naturally brilliant sound quality. On the other hand, for others who may have a more severe to profound hearing loss, micon fit activates frequency compression to optimize audibility for high frequency sounds.
The tinnitus noiser function allows the hearing instruments to deliver a programmable tinnitus masking noise, either by itself or in addition to the amplified environmental signal. This function is available in select XCEL hearing instruments. In hearing instruments powered by micon, it can be programmed in up to 20 channels.

A built-on battery door on/off function allows hearing instrument users to turn on / off the hearing instrument by slightly opening the battery door while keeping the battery in place.
The device is given a special coating to provide resitance to moisture to improve reliability. This coating is one of several features that allows the device to attain an IP certification.

Siemens‘ technology for coupling, synchronizing and the exchanging audio signals between two hearing instruments in a billateral fitting. It is used for communication between the hearing instruments, remote controls and audio streamers, as well as the exchange of audio signals. It is very power efficient so it does not compromise battery life.
The devices are able to wirelessly receive audio from the easyTek audio streaming device.

Companion microphone for use with miniTek and easyTek that is helpful in difficult listening situations. By giving VoiceLink to the conversational partner listening becomes easier as their voice is streamed directly to the hearing instruments. This product has a wide range of useful applications from talking to someone in a noisy restaurant to catching every word from a speaker at an event.
The Transmitter is used in combination with a Siemens audio streamer to transmit audio wirelessly from sources such as the TV, Radio or Stereo.
When combined with the easyTek, the easyTek App allows users to control their hearing instruments even more discreetly via their smartphones. Plus, the easyTek App enables additional functionality for the easyTek! The clear and intuitive interface means, it can be operated quickly and easily – for maximum convenience.
The touchControl App enables discreet control of hearing instrument programs and volume.
